Non-Profit makes Halloween Costumes for Kids in Wheelchairs

Non-profit Magic Wheelchair was created by Ryan Weimer, a passionate father of three children with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, which is a condition that confines all of his children to wheelchairs. Ryan created a pirate ship built around his eldest son’s wheelchair because his son was so excited about being a pirate. During trick-or-treating throughout the neighborhood, Ryan realized that children and adults were coming up to his son because of his awesome costume.

He thought every child in a wheelchair should have this amazing feeling, so he created the non-profit Magic Wheelchair.
